Our Kids Atlanta completed our pilot semesters in July 2009. We conducted 7 classes in two schools in south Cobb County, where we reached approximately 135-140 students. We offered classes in Digital Photography, Hip-Hop Dance, African Drumming, African Dance, and Latin Dance.

Classes were held at Campbell Middle School and Osborne High School. Both schools are in the South Cobb County area.

Integral to our core programs is providing student opportunities for recognition. This Spring our students performed at the Atlanta Dogwood Festival.

We also took our students to the Smyrna Jonquil Festival.

We performed at Osborne High School’s end of semester show.

Our students were also featured in the recent Earl Smith Strand Student Works Festival, where our African Drumming and African Dance classes opened AND closed both nights of the show!
